It is narrated by Kristen Bell and stars Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Ed Westwick. Many teenagers enjoy watching these shows because they are able to relate to the characters. Some of them even find reality shows more exciting than regular genres.

Gossip Girl

When Gossip Girl premiered in 2007, it brought a new level of salaciousness to the teen soap genre. Its narrator, a mysterious and omniscient figure, exposed the skeletons in the high-end closets of Manhattan's wealthy upper east side. The show tapped into the public's fascination with celebrity scandals and aspirational lifestyles. It was the perfect intersection of teen soap and reality TV escapism. And with a cast of young stars, including Blake Lively and Leighton Meester as the polar opposite BFFs Serena Van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf, it was easy for audiences to buy into the drama.

Unlike other teen dramas, such as Beverly Hills 90210 and The O.C, no one dies on GG. But, the lack of real consequences doesn't stop longtime viewers from rewatching episodes. Whether binge-watching or tuning in weekly, Tv shows continue to shape our collective experiences and leave a lasting impact on popular culture.

The Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries is a popular tv show with a lot of suspense and drama. Its storyline captivates the audience and provides them with lessons about life. Its characters are characterized by their tenacity to fight for their own humanity in the face of horror and tragedy. The show’s cast members, including Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder, have become famous in the years since its first release. They have gone on to star in movies, pursue their music careers, and start families.

The series was so popular that it spawned two spinoffs, The Originals and Legacies. However, it seems unlikely that TVD will return for a ninth season. Its creator Julie Plec has said that the show reached its natural end after season 8. It’s not easy to come up with a new plot after such a long time.

Downton Abbey

It's been 11 years since Downton Abbey graced our TV screens. The British period drama became an immediate hit, raking in awards and earning a loyal fan base for its mix of family squabbles, history, romance and class struggle.

Julian Fellowes' show has become a pop culture phenomenon, turning stars like Michelle Dockery and Dan Stevens into big names and introducing Maggie Smith's Dowager Countess to the world (and memedom). But what have the cast members been up to since the series ended? See where the actors are now, and check out what's coming up next for Downton.

The Tudors

The Tudors were a powerful family who brought in a new era for England. The show takes a look at the family, their relationships, and other events in history that occured during this time. The show has some historical accuracy but there are also some things that are a bit inaccurate. This is mostly done to create more drama and make the show better for viewers. Gossip Girl is a show about Manhattan's upper class and their constant cat-fighting, love triangles, and high society parties.

The Tudors portrayed Henry VIII as being very short-sighted, childish and petulant. Despite this, it was a great show with some good acting. Sam Neill, Jeremy Northam, and James Frain all play advisers to the king who come to gore-spattered ends. The Tudors are also credited with bringing in the concept of via media and establishing English control over Ireland.

The Bachelor

Since its premiere in 2002, this U.S. reality dating show has held a special place in fans' hearts. The show revolves around a bachelor who meets and dates a number of romantic interests each week, culminating in a proposal to one woman at the end of the season. After each episode, the bachelor gives one of the women a rose; he typically proposes to his final selection. There are exceptions, however, such as Brad Womack's refusal to select either of his final two women and Jason Mesnick's subsequent wedding to the first runner-up.

Conclusion

The Bachelor franchise has also spawned numerous spin-offs, including The Bachelorette, The Bachelor Pad, The Bachelor Winter Games and The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart. A one-hour after-show talk show called Bachelor Live and a pair of reunion specials have also been broadcast.
